It’s great to be back home

Chef Marc Miron has served the Rolling Stones on three occasions. He has prepared meals for royalties, various leaders of the world and a room full of discerning international food critics.
When celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay needed to cater his book-launching event in Sydney, Australia, he called upon Chef Marc Miron.

When Marc graduated from chef college in Ottawa, little did he realize that he was about to embark on a journey that would take him to some of the best restaurants around the world before bringing him home to the place he was born and raised.

For almost two decades, Marc ran restaurants for world-renowned Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in places such as Nevis, West Indies; Sydney, Australia; Montreal; and Vancouver. He also spent five years running the kitchens of two Four Seasons resorts in Bali, Indonesia, where he started  a cooking school that within one year, was listed as one of the top ten schools in the world by the Condé Nast magazine Women’s Journal.

His wife, Chantal, a well-regarded chef in her own right who worked for the Four Seasons, as well, joined Marc on his travels but took time off from her career to raise their two children, Julien-Marc and Maurissa.

And now, they are in Orléans, after a very successful career travelling the world.  Marc and Chantal are realizing a lifelong dream to share their passion for fresh and, whenever possible, locally grown food right here at home with their friends and neighbors.
