These reheating instruction cover the frozen foods carried at the store. You can either refer to the reheating instructions below or you can download the instructions for future reference.

While this list covers most of the products we make and freeze for your convenience, we are always adding new products so drop in, have a look and don’t be afraid to ask!

Beef and ricotta meatballs

Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Beef pie
Preheat oven to 375F. Brush the top of the pie with an egg or milk wash for a beautifully coloured crust. Bake from frozen for 60–70 minutes until golden brown.

Beef pie (Gluten-free)
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Reheat in a hot oven at 350F for 15–18 minutes until centre reaches 170F.

Bolognaise
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave. Add to your favourite pasta and serve.

Boeuf bourguignon
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Braised beef ribs
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Braised lamb shank
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Butter chicken
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Chicken pie

Chicken pie (Gluten-free)

Chicken satay
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Reheat in a 350F oven for 8 minutes.

Coq au vin
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Crab cake
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Reheat in a 350F oven for 12 minutes.

Duck confit
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Frozen specials in vacuum-sealed bags (e.g., pork stew, veal balls, rabbit, etc.)
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Herb Gnocchi
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Sauté in oil with your favorite vegetables (onions, mushrooms, zucchinis, peppers, etc.) until golden brown.

Lamb Moussaka
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Reheat in a hot oven at 350F for 15–18 minutes until centre reaches 170F.

Lamb pie
Preheat oven to 375F. Brush the top of the pie with an egg or milk wash for a beautifully coloured crust. Bake from frozen for 60–70 minutes until golden brown.

Lamb rogan josh
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place thawed contents in another container and reheat in microwave.

Lasagna (Chantal’s lasagna, vegetarian lasagna or spinach–ricotta lasagna)
Defrost the lasagna overnight in the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350F. Remove from the plastic bag, place on a cookie tray and put it in the oven until the centre reaches 170F. (Small: Approximately 20 minutes. Large: 25–30 minutes.)

Meat Burgers
While still frozen, season both sides with salt and pepper and grill each side for 8–10 min with your BBQ at 350F.

Poached salmon
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 4–6 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve.

Quinoa Burger
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Place in a hot oven (350F) oven for 10 minutes.

Salmon Burger
While still frozen, season both sides with salt and pepper and grill each side for 6–8 min with your BBQ at 350F.

Salmon dill pie
Preheat oven to 375F. Brush the top of the pie with an egg or milk wash for a beautifully coloured crust. Bake from frozen for 60–70 minutes until golden brown.

Smoked salmon
No need to reheat. Just defrost and enjoy!.

Soups and stocks
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave. DO NOT reheat the plastic bag in the microwave.

Tourtière
Preheat oven to 375F. Brush the top of the pie with an egg or milk wash for a beautifully coloured crust. Bake from frozen for 60–70 minutes until golden brown.

Turkey bolognaise
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the bag from the box. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the plastic bag in the boiling water for 12–15 min. Carefully remove contents from bag and serve. Alternatively, place contents in another container and reheat in microwave. Add to your favourite pasta and serve.
